Ira Jacobs

Ira Jacobs obtained a Ph.D. in physics from Perdue University in 1955.  He was employed at Bell Laboratories for 32 years.  He then joined the faculty at Virginia Tech as a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering.  He died in 2007.
